Portable Lithium Polymer Battery Packs
Product description
This recall involves portable lithium polymer battery packs with
model number T10400. The affected product is a black or grey
handheld rectangular battery pack that measures 10 x 7 x 2
centimeters and has two USB outputs and four blue LED lights. PNY
is written along the bottom of the front of the battery packs.
All date codes are included in the recall. The affected product
has TUV Rheinland certification file number US 72133343.
The batteries can overheat and vent flames, posing fire and burn
hazards.
Neither Health Canada nor PNY Technologies Inc. has received any
reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of
these battery packs in Canada.
PNY Technologies Inc. has received one report of the product
venting with flame from a consumer in the United States.
Approximately 800 units of the recalled products were sold in
Canada and approximately 56,000 units were sold in the United
States.
Products were sold from January 2014 to August 2015 at Best Buy
Canada and its former subsidiary, Future Shop.

with model numbers that start with BL 660, BL 663 or BL 665. The
model number is in the rating label that is molded into the bottom
of the motor base. The product is certified by Intertek.

All of these models have a clear 2-litre (72 ounce) pitcher with a
removable gray or black lid that opens and locks closed, a stacked
blade assembly, and one or more Nutri Ninja cups. All recalled
models have a motor base that is gray, white, black, cinnamon, or
platinum. The power of the models' motors vary from 1,000 to 1,200
watts. The recalled models may have been sold with additional
accessories, including a 1.2-litre (40 ounce) or 1.9-litre (64
ounce) bowl, a chopping blade assembly, or a dull dough blade
assembly.
The blender poses a laceration risk if consumers pour or invert
the pitcher after removing the lid while the loose stacked blade
assembly is still inside the pitcher.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents
or injuries related to the use of these blenders.
SharkNinja has received a total of 53 reports of lacerations,
three of which were received from Canada.
Approximately 99,000 units were sold in Canada and about 1.1
million in the United States.
The blenders were sold from August 2012 to September 2015 in
Canada and the United States at various department stores and
online.

The fuel tank's vent may come loose or separate into its two
component pieces, resulting in the leaking of fuel from the vent
or opening, posing a fire hazard.
Neither STIHL Limited nor Health Canada has received any reports
of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these
products in Canada.
In the United States, Stihl Inc. has received 319 reports of the
fuel tank vents coming loose and fuel leaking. No fires or
injuries have been reported.
Approximately 16,000 units of the recalled products were sold in
Canada and approximately 140,000 units were sold in the United
States, including an edger that was not sold in Canada.
The recalled products were sold from January 2015 to September
2015 in Canada and from November 2014 to September 2015 in the
United States.

This recall involves the T3 Twirl 360 curling iron. The Twirl 360
is a motion-sensing, auto-rotating curling iron with a 3
centimetre (1.25-inch) long barrel. The curling iron has a white
plastic handle, a white metal rotating heat barrel and clamp, and
a rose-gold coloured grip. The model number 76570 can be found on
the handle.
The clamp can detach from the main unit while in use, posing a
burn hazard to the user.
Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents
or injuries related to the use of the curling iron.
T3 Micro, Inc. has received received 130 reports of loose or
detached curling iron clamps. Of this number, two reports of
minor burns were reported in the United States.
Approximately 800 units were sold in Canada and approximately
8,400 units were distributed in the United States.
The recalled product was sold form December 2014 through October
2015 in Canada and the United States at professional beauty supply
and retail stores.

product allows consumers to charge their electrical equipment

Neither WakaWaka North America nor Health Canada has received any
reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to
the use of this product.
WakaWaka North America has received four reports of adapters
overheating, including some adapters producing smoke and one
adapter exploding. No injuries have been reported.
Approximately 36 recalled adaptor kits were sold in Canada, and
approximately 700 were distributed in the United States. All
consumer sales were made via the us.waka-waka.com website.
The recalled products were sold from November 2013 to April 2015.
